The Scandinavian Music Festival in Fort Tryon Park, now in its 14th season, is a unique series of three outdoor summer concerts performed by musicians of the Scandia Symphony and guest artists on Sundays in June. The concerts took place in a scenic and attractive venue, on Billings Lawn, below the Heather Garden and with spectacular views of the Hudson River. The artists spoke to the audience as they introduced musical characteristics and history of the music and the culture and traditions of Scandinavia.
